Am I the only one not even a little bit surprised that we lost? Another typical Charger loss in a history of typical Charger losses. This team was NEVER going anywhere this season. Took many of you 10 games to realize it.

Maybe, hopefully, a 5-12 season will be enough to cost the entire coaching staff and Staley their jobs. That's what I'm 'rooting' for.

You predict the Chargers will lose every game. You had us losing 42-0 against the Texans.

No the Spanos wont hire him because it's a family business which they control and they will not give any GM/HC that power and then get out of the way. It's why Telesco can be here for a decade with zero division titles. He has no backbone to tell them no or get out of the way. He is a good and loyal employee. Everyone knows what happens if you tell them no. You get fired.

If we fizzle out and miss the POs this season the SpAnus pukes damn well better get Payton or some REAL coach in here or we fans should just go on strike and force the sale of this team.Its actually easy just get a majority of fans to publicly boycott all things Chargers until those scumbags do.

The only times our franchise has had any success they hired better people and got out of the way. Just during the Dean era, Ross and Beathard and Marty/Butler-AJ

He's getting up there in years and would be a backup and spot starter.
He should be good doing that. They used him too damn much last year.

He may have wanted the Eagles more.

Payton never had that GM power though. The most he did personnel wise was what Staley did this offseason.

What actually hurt this year the most, outside of injuries, is Staley being conservative on 4th downs. He turned into Lynn and McCoy for some reason and it bothers me.
