I sure hope the coaches go for the first option you mention. Sick of the run run, and crappy screen pass on 3rd and 8Originally posted by Charge! View Post
Its about the coaches approach/gameplan.... Against the Chargers horrible defense, MIA with their speedy loaded offense, should be able to easily score 30-40 points......
So will Chargers coaches open up the offense and actually try to score over 30 points????
or will they play the same predictable conservative, low scoring, run, run, dump off pass offense they have employed all season purely to burn the clock to artificially make our defense look better than they really are by limiting the total number of possessions and scoring for both teams..... keeping game close and giving us the same barely lose or barely win opportunity of the other games....???

yeah I wonder after they've looked at the post game film after every game and evaluate those curl routes short of the 1st down marker they seem to call every game. how they think it's effective when if you were to use the analytics Brandon Staley seems to love, he'd see those have about a 9% chance of getting the 1st down. Why he STILL uses it boggles the mind.Originally posted by CanadianBoltFan View Post
Or little curl or stick routes short a few yards down the field. Very rare YAC from this team.

Here's a brazen, ridiculous, nonsense hot take -- The Chargers defense will keep Tua under 120 yards passing, and the Dolphins will not score a TD in the game. Lombardi secretly has play calling duties revoked and given to Shane Day during the game allowing us to open up the passing game, and Jay Rodgers is given more say in defensive calls and scheme. We win, and sing kumbaya.

...and the real reason Staley goes for it so much on 4th down and for 2 pointers is because he KNOWS his defense cannot stop anyone!..... Herbert has a far greater chance of getting a first down or a score than our defense does to stop any play.......

Don’t look backOriginally posted by Air Coryell 84 View PostI posted this in the pre game thread.
"If we somehow manage to beat the Dolphins today it will be bittersweet knowing if we were able to beat the Raiders last week we'd be in the 7th seed instead of the outside looking in."
Thoughts?
