    That’s what Miami thought about Charger injury riddled defense. Careful with the Karma.

      We all know how Staley depends on him and respects his game (Maybe to a fault) BUT if we don't make the playoffs this season we really have to think about trading the man, and using the cap space to improve our team in our weakest areas. Sorry Derwin love you, but this just isn't good enough for what you make and the role you are given. Get well soon.
      There's probably been quite a few games in which Derwin was injured and 'toughed' it out.

      Call him out for being too injured to play? He'd laugh at at any sideline warrior who would be of that mindset.

        Sigh.... The Eagles beat the titans 35 to 10..... The Jags beat them 36 to 22..... The Bengals beat them 20 to 16, these were all recent games..... The Bengals and Eagles are both Playoff teams!!!!!

        If we can't beat the titans at home at this time, its hard to say the Chargers ever have been a playoff team this year and I could give you a thousand reasons why.

          Good thinking. Let's get rid of all of our pro-bowl caliber players that have ever been injured. We can replace them with guys that have never been injured and make the new guys promise to learn how to play without ever getting injured.

            No one is calling him out....... Its not too injured to play,.... As a matter of fact the correct term is an Injury prone player. And for him to laugh at this would probably be the worst unhinged response to the situation. I don't believe he would think any of these factual statements would be something to Laugh at, maybe someone like the Joker would, but not him!

              And btw,

              Jacksonville and the Eagles put up 35 & 36 points against Tennesse the last two weeks.
              Though not 'out', Jeffrey Simmons was playing on a bad ankle and injured one of his arms last week;

              The Charger O should put up 25 + tomorrow; if not, the Lombo thread will be super popular.

                Every player is injury prone.

                He missed two games last year; and so far two this year.

                Since the NFL has expanded to 17 game seasons, i imagine that is becoming more & more common.

                  And how many times did we see this before the Jags game.

                  Just win baby!

                    What good is a pro-bowl caliber player if they don't finish the season for a non-playoff team? Think about it a little, blind faith doesn't cut it when you finish seasons like this team has under this GM and HC???? Also go back an reread the post very slowly no where do I say get rid of ALL our probowl players, right?

                      Wrong! Every player is not injury prone.
