Like when he threw 4 bad picks in the playoff game last year to lose the game for the #1 seed.
But back to the orignal point I was responding to, the Titans have normally struggled when playing from behind and they have to throw. That and Henry means it is a no brainer you want the Chargers to be playing with the lead.
Herbert is heating up with his boys back, their pass defence is dismal this year. I think we should win this game, but the Chargers will have to "play hard" like Staley said again because the Titans are always a physical team under Vrabel. Tackling Henry is the only scary element to this game.

Seriously I am very worried about this Titans game moreso than any other team in the NFL really. What really concerns me is they play so brutal and physical on defense I worry about more players getting injured. They seem to hit the quarterback EVERY single snap regardless of how good the protection is. There are no easy pocket throws. They tackle extremely violently on every play. It's really uncanny I don't know what Vrabel does to get these types of players or how he coaches them but they stand out to me just the way they hit & tackle brutally every play. Then offensively, they are built to be our kryptonite they run the ball so physically and their passing game is not near as bad as people think. I really just hope we can get out of the game healthy & be geared up for a final 3 push.

FWIW Young was looking back over his shoulder after handing off and ran into Merriman who was starting to pull up when they collided. Young then laid on the field for 5 minutes (In my opinion milking the injury attention) came out for a play then went back in. Merriman was hurt two plays later when Mawae and Stewart dove into the back of Merriman's knees. He was never the same.

Then again, I thought we'd beat the Raiders and lose to the Dolphins.
Football is a funny game.
Hopefully, the defense will be in a "Tite" formation... with 3 IDL playing most of the snaps. We have to keep the LB's and safeties clean.Protect the QB
Run the ball
Play great defense

first stealing signals in the playoff game;
then the planned Merriman hit that they practiced during the week.
Some scrub was the pivot to that seedy operation.
They don't deserve to win ever again against the Chargers.
Chargers have won 8 out of the last 10 games, post hit job.
