If Chargers were mathematically out of playoffs there are 2 teams I would want Chargers to beat that would make the season: Patriots, because bellycheat always out smarts our coaches, and they have embarrassed us even when we were better on paper..... and Titans because of vrable, bellycheats cheap shot artist who delivered illegal cheap shots on Rivers diving at his knees and leg whipping..... all with zero flags from refs....

I actually hate patriots more than raiders or chiefs.... lol

It was ONE game. A good game, for sure. But it doesn't erase the 9 other (or whatever) poor game plans he's produced this season. He's still got something to prove, to me at least. Let's see if he can string together two good games. But the jury is still out, IMO.

he claimed @the time, that the 49er game plan was his best of the season.... what is apparent that save for a double digit loss to the Texans, and the two and four touchdown losses to Seattle & Jax, we have been within a touchdown from the other team, win or lose, and yet... we don't have any double digit/multiple touchdown win differentials vs. other teams ??

last week was a good win, but speaking for myself I tuned in late in the first quarter to see that Herbert was 14/16 and Tua was horrid, and.... we were up by just 3.

questions for myself are, how much is this coaching staff holding Herbert/our O back, and/or how much is Herbert's talent holding up our decimated roster/lack of talent ??

it does seem like our talent is on the uptick and returning to the fold/field.... question is: is our coaching staff up to the task ?? we are def not waltzing into the playoffs.

they will be earned if we get there....

still say the fix is just not that difficult.... more intermediate/deep balls on O, and more Reeder + Alohi on D.

After the Titans game we play the Colts, Rams , and Broncos (10-27-1 combined).
The Patriots probably lose to the Bengals and Bills. So there are your 2 losses.
I hope the Patriots beat the Dolphins... as we hold the tiebreaker on them. Dolphins will lose to the Bills. Then have games against Patriots and Jets.

Henry is LAC enemy #1 in the Titans game. He's good, his team is not. Vs Jax is the 1st time he broke 100 yds in the last 5 games.
It's an understatement to say that we have not had good run defense - BUT- we managed to beat better rushing teams. Atl #4, Cle #5, LVR #10 (gm 1).
Ten is the #16 rushing O, #26 scoring O, #29 passing O. This is a game we should win, could win. Another LAC TEAM effort does the job

looking @the Tennessee roster.... can see why Robinson got fired.... if Telesco had fielded an Oline like his, his seat would be white hot.

don't think Henry nor Tannehill are gonna be much of a problem.... problem is our O.... we need to score.... 'specially when there are scrubs on the other side o' the ball, save for Simmons.
