      Sure sounds philosophical.

      How about this.
      Linsley + @darealmike_dub = Victory !
I majored in Philosophy (no joke). Master's degree in History. Even had a HS teaching credential. So, of course, I spent 35 years as a computer programmer.

        QSmokey is Smokestack Lightning.

I do not know if it is possible to be a Chargers fan without being at least a wee bit philosophical.

This poster actually liked Alex G.
        It's been downhill since.
        Inevitable and unavoidable.

Just saying, their running game is our kryptonite. I think we have a very tough game on our hands.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
            Let’s win one for Mack.

If Herbert can keep our defence rested I'll trade scores with Henry all day cause at the end of the half at the end of the game Henry is not going to be able to run very much with 60 yards to go and 1 time out...

It would open up a lot of things. "A serious threat" run game helps but "dominating" ? I'd take that if we can do it.
I like Ekeler & Kelley as our 1-2. We'll need better team blocking. I really liked the energy we showed on D, special teams, maybe some of that will rub off. It isn't just OL, everybody without the ball needs to put an opponent on the ground-legally, or at least get in their way.

agree.... we struggle against power backs that require good tackling to bring them down......

We can't afford many 3 & outs. Offensive drives by Chargers will be huge.
The defense has to come to play. Get some takeaways, force punts, get themselves off the field.
Hit Henry behind LOS and pile bodies on him. Gang tackle.

Prior to the Phins game I couldn't see any way our defense could handle those two great, swift WR's they have - but they found a way and we got the win.

This week, I can't see any way we can handle the Titan's running game. Can they come up with a magical way to do that like they did last week? I don't think so. I think we have to simply outscore them. This one is up to the offense.

And that means converting on red zone opportunities. No more 1st and goal and 4 plays where the ball doesn’t cross the goal line

Like others suggest, use the Coach Hoodie playbook to take King Henry out of the game, forcing Turnover Tanny to trade blows with Herbert. Lombo only watch last weeks Jag game to unleash a Herbert 1st half of 30 passes, > 250 yards, 3 TDs against their weak pass D. On D, something like gap discipline heavy run blitzing to gang Henry before he gets going. Tua is a rhythm passer to which Staley played tight press and smacked the shit out of receivers at the LOS. Do something to stop Henry from getting his Hemi-engine going once he cross the LOS. In the 2nd half Lombo tells Herbert to continue to sling it to break their will. Then in the 4th quarter constant doses of Eck & Kelley.
