Maybe the defensive struggles this season are because, in part, Staley's game plans are too complicated and they're not executed properly? I don't know. But I do hope Staley figures out why his game plan for the Dolphins worked so well and applies that formula to his future defensive game plans. I look forward to seeing how the defense performs against the Titans, it will be a harbinger.
Peter Schrager, a FOX Sports and NFL Network analyst, is pleading with the Chargers not too lay an egg against the Titans after playing such a good game agains the Dolphins.
We'll never play that game again. You can't shock anyone with the same game plan twice.
Titans one offensive strength is Henry- an entirely different opponent.
Vrabel is a D oriented former LB and their run D - scoring D reflect that. Their pass rush is better than avg., Their pass D gives up the 31st most yards.
Guess they are tough on the red zone.
LAC 20- Ten 17 (if they're lucky).
If we're lucky LAC 31 - Ten 10.

Henry can get 150 rushing yards and Titans can still lose the game. So long as the Chargers don't allow any long runs, all the running game will do is
keep the score down and close. However if we want to win this game we have to do better than 2/6 TDs in the red zone. We completely dominated
the Dolphins but a couple of freak plays (one that only happens to the Chargers) kept the game close and if Miami had recovered the on side kick
they would have had a chance to win the game. And a side note to Staley, on 4th and 2-3 yards for the TD in first half kick the freaking FG.

After LV the Patriots have a brutal schedule. You don't want to count them out, but at this point the NY Jets are more of a threat to the Chargers
PO chances. A win this week coupled with a Miami and NE loss would put us as the #6 seed. As it stands we win the tie breaker with the
Jets and Dolphins IF we win and Miami loses. A NE win would keep us behind them with the tie breaker going to to them. Unless we win the
next 3 games it could come down to the Broncos game.

Every game is different. Period.
Beside that, simplifying may/ should help. A lot of different player packages / substitutions does not have continuity. The LAC defense v Mia knew where they were going, what their responsibilities were all night.
