A franchise record 10 Carolina Panthers were selected to this year’s NFL Pro Bowl, including Josh Norman – a Coastal Carolina All-American in 2009 and 2011 – and Mike Tolbert – a Coastal Carolina All-American in 2007.

Tolbert is making his second Pro Bowl in three seasons. The undrafted free agent and eight-year pro has scored four touchdowns this season, one rushing and three receiving. Tolbert has also been a valuable blocker, helping quarterback Cam Newton be a top candidate for league MVP honors as well as and helping teammate and fellow Pro Bowl selection Jonathan Stewart to the second-highest rushing total of his career.

Okay, I loved Mike Tolbert when he was here, but the Pro Bowl? Seriously? The guy has 15 catches and 185 rushing yards after 14 games. That is not worthy of a spot.

I think he desreved it. He played really well this year. He's probably the 2nd or 3rd best guy on the team right now.
