Can those who love Lombo explain how Cincy can get it into the endzone so often. Cincinnati's OL has been awful the past two years. Yet, somehow, they put up points. TDs. Is it only because of Chase (young/speed)? What about KC this year (minus Hill)?

You said no recievers in the EZ on the drive before the half, I saw two on the pass to Keenan near the goalnline. He wasn't in the EZ and was well covered.

The rules are soft and designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator by driving up passing numbers. You're free to enjoy that. I don't. You can pretend it's because I don't care about the players, but I prefer a sport where the defense is able to play as well. Even if that entails risk.

I think the players would vote for the new approach minus the bad officiating. They see them selves as a business and a brand. They want to pro long their careers. If Williams went out for the season on a hit you might see it different.

Well, I suppose there would be a few who would decide to seek different careers. That doesn’t bother me - its their choice. There would still be plenty of football players, playing what used to considered real football. Also, lets not pretend for a minute that the league changed the rules because they care about player health. The game was changed because of lawsuits and dollars, plain and simple. Put a limit on these lawsuits and you’d have football being played again. Every one of these players, past and present knew the risk of injury. Heck, if there wasn’t the possibility of injury and devastating hits, soccer would be the number one sport. American’s celebrate risk and reward!
