Backbone of the team going forward

These are the guys I feel that you can build a team around going forward. And TT has drafted 9 of them. I don't like TT much, but his drafting has been decent so I'd have to keep him. There's a couple of other fringe layers too that he picked up.

    2015 1 1 15 15 Melvin Gordon RB Wisconsin
    2 2 16 48 Denzel Perryman LB Miami (FL)
    5 6 16 192 Darius Philon DT Arkansas

    2014 1 1 25 25 Jason Verrett DB Texas Christian
    2 2 18 50 Jeremiah Attaochu LB Georgia Tech
    4 5 25 165 Ryan Carrethers DT Arkansas State

    2013 1 1 11 11 D.J. Fluker T Alabama
    2 2 6 38 Manti Te'o LB Notre Dame
    3 3 14 76 Keenan Allen WR California

    2012 1 1 18 18 Melvin Ingram DE South Carolina

    2011 1 1 18 18 Corey Liuget DT Illinois
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Melvin Ingram: Pro Bowl vote not a snub
    Mugshot of Tom Krasovic
    By Tom Krasovic | 7 a.m. Dec. 29, 2015

Chargers linebacker Melvin Ingram is having his best season, led by a career-high 9.5 sacks that also is first on the team.

The perfomance did not bring Ingram his first Pro Bowl selection, and yet, Ingram said on Monday that's OK because he wasn't deserving of the Pro Bowl.

"I didn't have a good enough season," he said. "I feel like if I would have had a good enough season, I would have made it."

His 2015 statistics are strong, placing him 11th among NFL players in sacks. Among "3-4" outside linebackers, he's second with 41 tackles, third with 923 snaps and tied for 14th with 32 hurries.

Ingram explained his breakout season in three syllables.

    "I'm healthy," he said.

Headed toward his 16th start of the season -- seven above the career mark he set last year -- the fourth-year player credited his durability to last winter's workouts under Chargers strength coach Kent "Bud" Johnston. Ingram emerged 20 pounds lighter, improving his quickness, yet said Monday he has as much power and strength as he did when he was heavier.

"I owe all that to Bud," he said.

Did Ingram deserve a Pro Bowl selection? His teammates say he did. I think he put himself into the Pro Bowl conversation for the first time. Now he better understands what it will take, both in terms of preparing his body and his game performance. With more consistent play in 2016, when he will be in the fifth and final year of his rookie contract, Ingram would be tough to keep off the Pro Bowl team. His outspoken teammates can join in by helping to win more games, coming off a last-place finish. Victories boost a player's Pro Bowl candidacy.
Love Ingram. Love the Ingram/Attaochu combo, they should only get better. Not a fan of Bud.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

LOL. that shit is so bad they don't even market it by its real name anymore! Ask any waitress what domestic beers they have on draft and they tell you "PBR" instead to make it sound cool and trendy like craft brews. I had to ask what that was- and cracked up when I heard the full name
