I haven't been following the solution to the Bills-Bengals being canceled closely. If the Bengals beat the Ravens in the early window, the Bengals win the AFC North with no strings attached, right? But if the Ravens win, the Bengals still win the division but if they meet the Ravens in the wildcard round they will determine who gets homefield for the game via a coin toss, right? So the Bengals have incentive to defeat the Ravens today in order to avoid a coin toss losing them homefield advantage against the Ravens next week, right?

Is that enough incentive for the Bengals to play to win (play their starters the whole game) today? I would think so. Plus, there is some serious ugly bad blood between these two franchises. Last season in a Dec game when the Bengals were blowing out the Ravens, Zac Taylor kept Burrow on the field and him continue to throw deep to Chase in Higgins to get Burrow to 500 yards passing against the Ravens. Harbaugh did not take that kindly. The Ravens got even by upsetting the Bengals in Balt in week 5 of this season. So the Bengals are motivated to crush the Ravens today. But how much will Taylor risk - will he go all out to win?

This all has a bearing on how Staley approaches today's game in Denver of course, and he may not have much time to figure it out.
