2) The Chargers have gone 9-7, 9-7 and 4-12 under McCoy. After starting out 14-8, McCoy has gone 8-18, leaving him with a 22-26 record (.458). He has finished third, third and fourth in the rugged AFC West.
7) The team's falloff within the AFC West is the biggest check mark against McCoy. Over the last two years, the Chargers were 2-10 against AFC West teams. Their current eight-game losing streak in the AFC West is the franchise's longest since an eight-game streak under Kevin Gilbride from 1997-98 (June Jones coached one of those games after Gilbride was fired).
8) Of the 12 intradivisional games the last two seasons, McCoy's only victories came in '14 against Oakland teams that were 0-4 and 0-9. In nine of the 12 games, the Chargers didn't cover the point spread.
