Chargers 2023 Draft Poll (part deux)

Saying what should be a priority in the draft at this point means we have to guess at what the Chargers do to get under the cap and what guys we resign. Way too early for me to guess at what the biggest hole will be.

Rich you can overthink it if you like. It's just a simple poll. What position in your mind should be a priority in the draft. Nothing more.

Just way too early to vote IMHO. It's like doing mock drafts before the compensatory picks and FA and the combine. Much ado about nothing since we are uneducated. I lean a lot of ways.....our DL stunk, our OL could have big needs with cuts and FA departures. CB's are always a need and WR speed is a must add. AND I haven't even mentioned TE yet.

Just too early to know the need(s).

Again.... This isn't rocket science. It's just your personal opinion what position would YOU like give priority to in the draft. If you over think it then don't post and don't vote. Simple.

Wow this is nuts. Previous polls were all just voted and discussed. Now some people try and muddy up the question. Just answer it. I simply would like to know what position the Chargers community believes is a priority AS OF RIGHT NOW...

I vote WR. That really isn't that difficult.

Alot depends on what Chargers decide to do with big contracts, and FA....

- Do we keep KA?...less likely, lotsa opf possession guys out there
- Do we keep MW?....more likely....not as many bog WR's out there....
- Bosa???
- Mack..... dominated in one game or 2 then disappeared......

- does Herbert get new deal this year or next????..... nothing else can happen except cuts, until they decide what to do there.....

if we lose a WR, that may jump up tp top 2 rounds......
- Speed receivers can be found in any round, but highrr the better odds of success....

WE still need a real dominating DT who can pass rush like Jones of chiefs....
We also need reall all round Lbers like 49ers have.... so we can actually stuff the run.....

We need a power RB and a Speed RB to rotate with Ekler.....

We can alsways use better CB's and Safeties.....

We need at least one Edge rusher...... not a late round project that will never do anything.....

We need a real backup QB instead of the scrubs we have....

Finding a great TE would be nioce also..... how about a FA find like Gates???...lol

The bolded is a really big weakness. Right after speed at WR. If we lose Fox it's going to be really bad.

A running stuffing linebacker is another big need. I'm tired of Kenneth Murray's play.

I can definitely overthink things!

Having said that, it really does matter what we do. If we cut Allen I want our first pick to be a WR. If we don't resign Pikpkins and cut Feiler we need an offensive lineman. If we cut Davis we need a cornerback.

If we cut Allen, I could live with drafting Hyatt at WR along with Kincaid or Mayer at TE.

I voted for a TE, when Moore mentioned using elements of Air Coryell, I thought of Kellen Winslow.

I do have to admit that John Jefferson also came to mind.

I loved JJ. Killed me when he wanted more $$/held out and then got traded.

Not sure we have glaring holes anywhere, but its early...will say we can use an upgrade in many areas though...should be a BPA option in the poll.

I would settle for a Josh Jacobs miraculously falling into our lap as well.
