    PFF offensive line rankings

As expected, our oline was ranked dead last:

The latest football news, analysis, and rankings from PFF. Featuring data-driven rankings and stats for NFL, fantasy football, and the NFL Draft.

Trevor Robinson, who had the lowest grade of any lineman in the league.

I could coach the o line and get higher ratings. Just by cutting Robinson on day 1. He spent more time in the backfield than Gordon.

And I do try to bring Barksdale back.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

And Trevor Robinson was an improvement over Watt.
      Prediction:
      Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

Do not agree with this at all. Watt was bad. Robinson is the worst Charger center I have ever seen.

          Ditto That

Watt got pushed back losing leverage a lot, Robinson got steam rolled back no leverage at all which seem to be all the time

All I saw was Watt getting steamrolled even worse than Robinson. In the end we can agree that they both suck. Kum-bai-ya

And the Patriots had, what, 18 or 19 guys take snaps on the O line this year?
Obviously not about injuries. Just talent, or in our case, lack thereof.

With the Krafts, it's just cheating.

I hadn't really paid attention to the Cheats before until this past week.

Two things showed they are just as stupid as all the other teams.

                1. Some dummy on the Krafts intercepted the ball on a long bomb on 4th down. He got up and celebrated along with a bunch of other defenders after the ref called it an interception. What he was celebrating was a 40-yard loss for the Krafts. Fortunately for the Cheats, the call was overturned. But, still - what dumb-asses.

                2. Belichick had the game won if all he did was have the team kneel down. Instead, Brady threw a pass right to a Queef Hunt, which probably would have cost the Krafts the victory if the Hunt hadn't fucked it up. Stupid call.

The Cheats aren't smart. They aren't better. They just cheat.

Well, now when you watch the OL in the combine pay attention when they say "he has sand in his pants" . It's good to have a bubble. Olinemen should have a bubble but on the interior of the line I want sand in them drawers. Phone box fighters too, very important.

Watt got steamrolled after he hurt his knee and couldn't get into his stance. With no leverage, there is no way to block anyone. But that is not reflective of his ability. Just that he couldn't bend his knee.

The other thing PFF doesn't do is account for the line calls that Robinson made. While he is not a very good blocker, he made a lot of adjustments for the OL and got everyone else lined up on who to block. Things could have been an even bigger disaster if not for Robinson's calls. The next C we get has to be a better blocker, but he has to make all the line calls, which is not a trvial thing.

The thing that really pissed me off about Robinson was that he bobbed his head and tipped every other snap. Why couldn't coach D fix that?

Coach D probably prayed to heaven he would be scapegoated so he could leave these stiffs.
