i am not a draft guy at all, but I would have picked the receiver who showed the greatest ability to get open (something we seemed to lack badly last season and i guess this season as well) and had good hands. I probably would have ended up with someone other than QJ with those requirements, but it is water under the bridge at this point.
    The hands thing is scary.

But if the lack of fight and being pushed around is a strength issue, then that could be improved.

TE class was a good one. Hec maybe we suck enough to get Bowers in this one.

Maybe we beat NE but after that?
Kincaid would be a great pick too, i liked him a lot too. I just remembered Bandy and Moore and I saw 2 WRs making $20M+ as not a long term plan. Looking at the roster and injury list today - Zay would be more useful right now. We probably win a couple of the games we lost with him.

But Long term, we’re all dead - ultimate who is better between them = beats me? both will have Rd1 worthy careers.

Hey, I've been as critical as anybody of QJ. But I've been following the NFL for 50+ seasons, and I've learned not to give up on a player who was drafted highly and struggled as a rookie, but has undeniable skills. Some players just need more time to develop, to figure things out in the NFL. QJ is barely 22. We know he is a good kid from a strong family. I get the feeling he has been a bit sheltered as the result of that.

In college he was just so much more talented than every one else on the field and it wasn't that difficult for him to excel. He's in the NFL now, and he has to work harder at his craft, and I think he needs to adjust to that. He can't live that sheltered life anymore, he has to fight harder. I think he will learn. They drafted him for a reason. He was really the only WR like him in this draft, a big X receiver with good speed who break tackles and create YAC. His wingspan and catch radius is enormous, bigger than 97 percent of NFL WRs, even among those who are an inch or two taller.

I won't be surprised if at this point next season is a top 10 WR. I firmly believe he and Palmer can become one of the best WR duos in the league in a few seasons.

            This is a mental / mind set issue . . . . . . . . .. . bulking up won't help much, except to further the 'look like Tarzan - play like Jane' stereotype . . . . . . . .

So .....should I play QJ or Guyton on my FF teams? I have each on different teams and not starting either. But I have injuries and can. I have better options but anyone think one of these guys gets some targets?

He's barely 21. His confidence has taken a hit and he needs to slowly get it back. Moore really needs to design some plays for him, like slants, that will build his confidence. QJ may not be a superstar this season, but don't rule out that eventuality. I still think that QJ and Josh Palmer could be one of the best WR duos in the league in a few seasons, and if KA is still with us, it could be a dynamite trio.

Maybe the coaches should show him this reel before the game! But I did see a lot of bad tackles in the reel as well.

Mike Williams was terrible his first year as well and now he’s good for at least a half a season.

Time for this guy to call Lester Hayes and get stickum. As I recall, Lester had it all over himself, including his helmet!

Nope! Not sure how she has a job on TV with what they have her doing.
