You know what kind of bothers me about the guy. I get the impression he doesn't care to much to improve. He seems lackadaisical to me for some reason. Have we ever heard anyone on the team praise him or even talk about him in interviews. I hope I'm wrong but I'm not sure he has a teammate personality and may be lazy.


Please prove me wrong Quentin I would love to root for you and watch some great things from you.

I'm not sure it's so much that and more like he seems like an introvert who is struggling with confidence. We'll see if the new coaching staff can get him going.

It's way too premature to call him a bust. So we over drafted a 2nd rounder...who cares...same argument we had with palmer with other forum posters. It takes two years to season a WR and if they take off early in their careers it's just a bonus.

Palmer has turned into a very solid WR. He isn't great at anything but is good at just about everything.

Maybe we draft Nabors to be new #1 WR stud, and QJ becomes a decent #2.

Nabors, Palmer, improved QJ would be a decent crew for our 25 year old QB to grow with.

I guess i do. Keenan is tough, but you save a ton of cap and he is about to be 32. Sometimes tough business decisions have to be made. I still want Bowers most of all though, so a reworked Keenan for 2 more years is ok too.

KA has to stay even if we extend him 2-3 years. This offense need him.

Moving from Keenan to Nabers is a cap space savior. we lose out on Bowers in that case. However, moving on from Mack, Bosa, MW and Keenan pretty much fixes the cap right there.

Sebastian J Day, Kendricks and Corey L are also other likely savings. It depends on what Keenan is willing to negotiate. I am not a draft expert, but the highlights of Bowers look great.

I just don't know if the guy has the ability to make contested catches or even catch the ball if it's not right in his gut. I can't point to one special catch he made all season. I can point to several drops including balls he should have caught today. He doesn't seem to have the strength to fight off defenders. And then has bad hands to boot. They drafted a WR at #1 with bad hands. They drafted a safety in round 3 who can't tackle and didn't play this year. Just bad picks.

If he doesn't have the strength, then an off season in the weight room should get him there.

Daniel Jeremiah, noticing his drops on over the shoulder catches, thinks his problem might be with tracking the football .... and not his hands.

Jeremiah seemed to say that its correctable .... T. Williams had trouble starting off with fighting for the football and tracking issues.

Who would be happy if he becomes another T. Williams at this point?
