This is why I hate coaches who do selfish things in the short term vs. getting Herbert Healed up and rested for 2-3 weeks for his finger. This organization does not plan for adversity.

No, the goal is to win late in the season and in the playoffs, when opponents have lots of tape, but are helpless because of matchups.
Such is the advantage of QJ's skillset, placed amongst the Chargers WR population.
Now throw in the presence of DDavis and Guyton.
#2 The goal is to win games, that's how you make the POs.
#3 Even when QJ is open Herbert is not looking that way or not seeing him
#4 I don't see any advantage to QJs skill set. The idea is get open early. When the DB bites you burn him deep. I only saw
this once in all the snaps.
#5 We are 2-4. Late games won't mean shit at this rate.

QJ if you're reading this.....get so freaking open on every play it'll force Herbert to throw to you.

Nothing in what I have seen with Herbert forcing the ball to a tightly covered Williams, Everett or Allen(often with great success) makes me think this is an issue with getting open. It's about trust and chemistry and I would love to see some wide receiver screens to start building that or whatever Moores favorite version of that play is.

Guess what, we lost those two games anyways and Herberts finger might not be healed any time soon.

The open guy for us is often Allen. So he's going to get first look from Herbert. There are caveats. If there is a one on one situation the QB can use that option. Rivers
often did that. QJ as seen in those videos is one on one, but he never beats his man. So he's not going to be an option. I think there was one back shoulder throw to him.
That's what happens as an option when you don't get separation, use come back routes to the QB. Didn't see him do that to often either.
Right now QJ cannot beat press coverage. So you either line him up behind the LOS to give him a free release or you put him in motion which may free him up.
Again didn't see any of that. He's just a bad fit for what we are trying to use him for.

Sometimes rookies need time to develop chemistry with the QB. At some point Moore needs to find way to get this
guy the football so we can see what we got. That's called scheming. Right now he's just lining up and running routes
where he just disappears from the action.
