Elway isn't going to sit on his no-QB situation. Whoever they sign just needs to "game manage" and let the Defense take care of business. They'll still win the Division, IMO. KC and Raiders will battle for 2-3.Originally posted by Hard Charger View PostComment

i'm lovin this. Sounding like Brock was pissed at the coaching staff to pull him in the last game against us.....frankly i dont blame him as Manning sucked ass in his time even though it was the Defense that kept them winning despite Mannings horrid play. So I jsut cant wait to see what they come up with. Kap? RG3? Both are vets but have serious question marks. With the defense losing some key players as well the door did just open up on Denver to make it tough to repeat. I think they had plenty of close games that now im not so sure they win. Will see how it all plays out but im loving Manning and Os leaving them high and dry. Not so rosy in Denver.Comment

If I'm Denver I'm looking at a QB at the end of Round 1, or trading up. Even with the guys they've lost on D they can still afford having a QB that will simply not cost them the game (Kap or RG3 are as likely to do something detrimental as positive). Regardless I'm happy they find themselves in this situation.Comment

Elway, Denver media, fans all painting Osweiler as an ingrate. "He should have signed for less money just to play with us!" "He owes us!"
He got a tremendous amount of money off a very small sample size on a team with a terrific defense. I don't blame him for making the move. And odds are against him being successful (Matt Cassel, Scott Mitchell, Matt Schaub, etc)
This gives Denver a lot of cap relief and we get to see how good Elway/Kubiak are. Can they reclaim the careers of Kapenick or RGIII?
