Williams is a decent player, played for Jay Rodgers before I think in Chicago. He was a starter for the Giants until he tore a bicep. Good pickup. (Also supposed to be a really good person)

Feel like Van Noy would have been the better use of the money. Possibly even Callahan. Maybe the staff sees a setback or some issue with AJ and/or Tito's knee recoveries that we all assumed were going well? I don't know...

I would like to see either or both of those guys added, too. But I don't know if they want more money than Chargers can afford or won't accept another one year deal. Chargers know them both and would move if it made best sense I believe.

My guess is Williams is making the veteran minimum which does nothing against the cap - maybe $200k or so

the Chargers still have money for Van Noy or Callahan or Floyd or JJ3 - -its just do they want them?

Nothing wrong with stocking up on big bodies on the IDL. Someday maybe the Chargers will fix the glaring hole that has existed there since the departure of Big 'Mal.

Maybe 330# Jerrod Clark develops into a poor man's Jamal...I'll take that...

My instinct is to be cynical, but the Chargers do have a good track record of developing UDFAs into good NFL players.

My guess is he's PS material in 2023, but come to camp and surprise us, big guy!

I like this add, assuming its near vet-min. insurance. Welcome to LA, Nick!

I am sure it is vet minimum. But he is an 11 year vet and vet min is graduated per years of service or at least it used to be. So he is probably getting at least 1.5-2m?
