Chargers doing their research on Paxton Lynch

If your gonna trade the pick you need to know its value.

Chargers among teams to schedule Paxton Lynch for visit
The Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos were at the center of an exchange between NFL Media analysts Wednesday about potential trade scenarios that could land quarterback Paxton Lynch for one of them on draft day.

The three clubs are also at the center of Lynch's post-pro day calendar.

Cha Ching. I love QBs going up in value.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Hey. I think Telesco is awesome, but that dude in Donkeyland is a cheat. Let's not make a trade with him.

Regarding Lynch, he's raw, and would benefit with some seasoning behind a quality QB. He looked good early vs. Ole Miss, and others, but faded when playing the top of his conference and the bowl game. I wouldn't mind him falling into the lap of the Chargers in the 2nd round, and taking him with that pick, but not passing on a chance of solidifying the OL or DL if someone there fits the bill. I definitely wouldn't trade picks to jump over Dallas and Denver to get him in the first.

For the love of God, do not let him go to the Donkeys, or everyone in this town will buy his jersey.

And in addition, he's got the tools to succeed. I would love it if we picked him....but admittedly, I'm biased.

If the guys is going to be any good, that's where he'll wind up. They'll take him with the 32nd pick.

People were convinced we were going to trade Rivers and draft Marcus Mariota last year too. Nothing wrong with doing your due diligence.

I wasn't and listed my reasons. IIRC, you thought it was ridiculous of me to suggest they would conduct some kind of charade of flying the Spanos plane full of execs to visit him, and why go to all that trouble for some elaborate smokescreen if there was nothing to the Rivers to Tenn rumors.

Whiz practically ran that pro day and workout of Lynch. And he had a great pro day. I think he ends up in the 1st round. Rams maybe.

I doubt Lynch makes to 31.

Wish we could get Ramsey/Bosa/Buckner, & then trade back into first round to get Lynch. He'd be great to groom behind PR over the next coupla years.
