Tuerk says it's a dream come true. He's a So Cal boy and hoped it would be the Chargers calling. Has attended a few Chargers games

Max Tuerk says he was extremely nervous watching the draft. "When I got the call, I don't have any words to describe it. An amazing feeling"

Telesco on Tuerk "We see him as a center...as a rookie, we'll groove him at 1 spot for now." Interesting- something they didn't do w/Watt

That Elway is a crooked guy. You just can't trust him. He's a dirty guy. If you ever criticize him he just plays the woman card. That's all he's got, really. If he wasn't a woman, nobody would like him. Because he's a horse. And you can't trust a horse these days, because they all come from China. And Mexico. And that's why we've gotta build a wall. A WALL! We gotta keep these bad horses out because they keep playing the woman card. Bobby Knight knows all about women. And horses. And chairs, too. That's why he's endorsed me. He was a great football coach and he knows how yto win. I hope he gets his new stadium out there, because I have a lot of friends out there. Lot of friends. But I've always been a yuge fan. Yuge. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
Let’s win one for Mack.

His movement skills sound intriguing. Plus we have some pretty large guards, so maybe an agile center is a nice compliment. But 300 isn't so undersized. In the end, this seems like basically a hedge on Watt's future development and ability to stay healthy.

Watching his highlights, I was pretty shocked how a guy that tall can and move like he does.
ACLs are always a concern, but medical advancements and such... he apparently was having a heck of a year before the injury.
I'm warming to the pick. I need to watch more film on him. I guess I felt so positive that we were gonna get someone like Martin or Whitehair, that I kinda went meh with Max T.
I did want and predict interior OL, so I don't know why I'm so meh on him. Probably the ACL, and the tall for a center thing...
However, he definitely doesn't move/pull like he's 6'5" -- more like he's 6'1" or something. Quicker than expected. What's his recover time table? I want some holes for Gordon to exploit finally. And PR with more time.
I'm rambling and drunk. MevermindWell.. you can at least see the croutons in the dark.

Do any of you have any idea how many C in the NFL can pull and lead? If there are 2 right now, I would be surprised. This guy is a rare find. And if we stick with our outside zone (and we probably will considering we just drafted one of the better blockers in the TE class), this guy is going to be incredibly valuable. He is going to be getting out in front of Gordon on the outside zone play leading it down the sidelines.
The draftniks (and some scouts) get obsessed about a guys weight. It is a very rare player who comes out of college and doesn't put on some weight after they spend time with NFL nutritionists and in an NFL weight room. Usually, it is much harder for them to keep it off, not put it on.
