No way in hell they are better than baseball. The umps in baseball get the calls right nearly all of the time (floating strikezones notwithstanding, but most are consistent).

Baseball umpires barely have to move and generally only have one call to make per play. I think there are more things to watch for and more space to cover in a single football play than in an entire baseball game.
