I have 3 brothers and a sister. We were all together that week which made it a bit easier. This may sound cynical but they were older and I think most of us were somewhat prepared. My father had been ill for months and had himself released from hospice to pass at home. My mother was a complete shock. She had heart attack 8 hours after he passed. None of us were prepared for the shock of losing them soo close together.

Thanks everyone for the kind responses. As I said, I'm doing well, but just another reminder of why I keep coming back to the board. What a great online community we have."...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."
