      1979 was my first year watching as a kid, but i think they lead the league in sacks in 1979. the defense fell apart year by year after that.

            Mike Williams, Willie Buchanon, Glen Edwards and Mike Fuller ... they had a better than decent secondary.

            The secondary suddenly got old in 1981

                1975. That's the year they drafted Kelcher, Big Hands, and Dean. Also the year I became a Chargers fan.
