Your bandwagon bus is getting hit by the reality train... The past is the past, right now this team is a sub .500 rudderless ship. The players deserve better...
I'm jumping off Critty's double decker Staley special right now.
He came down with the flu. Popper said he was sitting with a towel over his head puking into a trash can on the sideline. And Rumph hurt his foot in pregame warmups, after we had announced our inactives (which may explain the lack of the Tuli/Bosa/Mack combo on the field at the same time).
This is too simple and effective thinking for Staley. I think this guy grew up watching Barny the dinosaur or some such brainwashing drivel...
The D didn't spend enough time during the week designing and practicing their celebrations, and had their face paint play date cancelled . . . . . . . . . . . or maybe, just maybe - they played a good offense and were exposed . . . . . . . . . . . .
DJ should not be involved in pass coverage . . . . . . . . he needs to add 10 lbs and transition to LB - he'd probably be excellent there.
Dan Campbell arrived to Detroit with a reputation of being a tough-as-nails former player who could build a team that would run through a brick wall for him. He's lived up to that.
Brandon Staley came to the Chargers with the reputation as a young, brilliant defensive coach who would get much more out of the studs he inherited on that side of the ball and build at least a respectable unit. He has not come close to living up to that.
Get of the Chargers bandwagon. I've heard this exact same stuff for decades from Chargers fans about their HC, every year they want him fire.
Justin Herbert HC and OC his rookie year are currently HC of Colts and asst HC of 49ers. So maybe they know football and could have continued to build a program with Herbert.
Well I want Staley to build..he is halfway into year 3 and still in shape for a playoff run. And fans are pressing the panic button as the tend to do. Well I'm stopping the bus. So you can get off. And then I'm on to Green Bay.
Mrs. Staley, again, your defense of your son sounds more and more ridiculous. Go bake some cookies or something and nice new handle.

Romo mentioned in the broadcast that DC was voted a Captain, even though he was a back up tight end. That tells you something.
Staley took over a team with awful trench play,
and three years later they still have awful trench play, despite the tremendous amount invested.
Critty, you are not helping Staley's cause.
Schottenheimer takes over a team with awful line play, and three years later its fixed.
Cost them an affordable free agent, a few day 2 picks and a 6th rounder.
Difference between solid and incompetent.
agree.... listen to staley talk and listen to any other football coach...... no comparison..... "our players were really connected today"...... our players were really "expressing themselves"???????
Staley never talks about blocking and tackling..... like mMarty and EVERY OTHER FRICKING FOOTBSALL CVOACH IN HISTORY!!!!!... but not NICE staley.....
