Twenty-five days.
Countdown to
Black Monday.
Didn't Denver fire Hackett with just a couple of games left last season. Woul;d be a prudent move by the Chargers to message Harbaugh and Belichick that the store is open

If Spanos is actually interested in either of them, they know by now... I just hope they are. I'd LOVE Harbaugh here - the anti-Staley.

There is a quality coach out there, you mention the top two, who would like this job.
It offers a fresh new start, a chance for glory for those who are financially set, and the opportunity to be Justin Herbert's head coach.
That challenge would have to be tempting, however surprising it all seems.
With the game on the line, every team likes to send a blitz vs Chargers 'cause they know it'll get there and it's fun to pound on Herbert.
I wonder if anything changes with Stick?
Before Easton Stick makes his first career NFL start, learn about the quarterback who dominated the FCS at North Dakota State.
Easton Stick's FCS records
Stick was a dominant force for North Dakota State in three full seasons as the starting quarterback. He finished his college career 49-3, the most wins by a quarterback in FCS history. He was also the starter when North Dakota State beat the then-No. 11 Iowa Hawkeyes in 2016.
The Bison won the Missouri Valley Football Conference championship in all five seasons he was on the roster, and he was part of four national championship teams, being the starting quarterback for the title teams in 2016 and 2017. He was the Most Outstanding Player of the 2018 national championship game.
He finished his college career with 8,693 passing yards with 88 passing touchdowns, both of which are North Dakota State career records. Stick also had 41 rushing touchdowns in his college career.
Whether Stick can do it or not. He will try to win the game today. And for rest of season. A great opportunity for him to make some money. He will be a UFA. If he is a competitor, he probably thinks there are not 32 QBs better than me. Or even thinking, I can do what Brock Purdy is doing if I get my chance. I'm the same size and arm strength and athletic abilities as him. While not the best circumstances, it is a chance to show off what he can do.
tHonestly, the best thing that could happen is Stick plays very well ( so we know we have a decent, backup quarterback ) but he Chargers (Chargering ) and they lose every last game and we get a higher round of picks…..there are gonna be many salary cap casualties next year and the Chargers really need a stout draft
