    GM Candidates - Discussion

IMHO, this descision is more important than the HC. The Chargers need to replenish their roster with better talent and speed.

Here are some of my choices in no perticular order:

    1) Adam Peters- Assist. GM 49ers
    2) Mike Borgonzi- Assist. GM Chiefs
    3) Joe Hortiz- Dir. Player Personnel Ravens
    4) Jojo Wooden- Dir of Plalyer Personnel Chargers
    5) Andy Weidel- Assist GM Steelers

I wouldn't be surprised if the Chargers go with Wooden. I know he is highly respected around the league and really doesn't promote himself. Anyway, who is your top candidate or candidates?

The Athletic’s annual NFL agent survey deems the 49ers’ front office with John Lynch and Adam Peters as trustworthy.

That would be a natural fit.
If we secured Joe, that would be a huge move suggesting our target is Harbaugh

            Great list.

Nothing against Wooden but id rather avoid anyone currently in this organization.

Out of your list, I pick number 3.

4 needs to follow Telesco, not get promoted!

I'm almost positive he will be the interm GM for the rest of the season. I'm on the fence with him as a permanent GM. I think he would be a good choice but think they need to go outside and get a fresh perspective.

don't kid yourself.... there's no GM decision to be made.

if the Chargers don't hire Harbaugh....

and they don't have to overpay.... the guy wants the job.

Michigan has $11m/year on the table.... start the conversation w/an NFL $14m/year and take it from there.... w/incentives.

Harbaugh will sign.... Dean will pay.... West Coast all day.... (no Mr. Bill).

Dean & Jim (team Jimmy Dean) will choose the GM.... no Ron Wolfe, no young John, no anybody else.... the buck stops @the top.

I agree, think they need to go outside the organization.

                      John Dorsey

Proven track record. He built KC into a Super Bowl contender and had them winning playoff games with Alex Smith. He built the foundation of what Cleveland has now. He built Detroit into what they are now. Hes all football all the time. He got fired in Cleveland for telling the analytics staff to go F themselves. Won’t take shit off John boy etc

would think about bringing him in as Director of Football Ops.... let him and Jim hire a GM,
