It wasn't that the play calls were conservative. It was the specacuarly stupid calls that were made. Who throws two bubble screens in a row (besides us of course)? It's not like it is a really good play for us. The only thing it had going for it was that we had just called it, but they were clearly looking for something short, quick and stupid.

McCoy throws Wiz under the bus.
"Well, I think you know (offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt's) calling the game the way we see it as the flow of the game goes and what we're doing, the rhythm of the game, how you're going to do things like we've been talking about all the time," McCoy said. "They're all going to play. I was very pleased with how (Gordon) ran the ball there today — obviously, scoring a touchdown, the way he played, the physical way he ran. (He) made guys miss. I was very pleased with the way he played."
