Hillman:

Has 67 receptions for 431 for a 6.4 average.
Spiller:
Rushed 704 times for 3,433 yards for a 4.9 average.
Has 192 receptions for 1434 for a 7.5 average.
Not sure I'd look at that and say McCluster is a scrub compared to the other two. Spiller really didn't play well last year after coming back from knee surgery. McCluster looks like the best pass catching back of the 3 and is familiar with the offense.

I think McCluster will work out okay.

Im excited to see him play. Hes got some video game moves. And now he has a QB that can find him in space. He is no Woodhead up the middle thats for sure. But he can be more effective after the catch in the passing game.

In a perfect world, I'd want Woodhead back, but I am excited about the McCluster signing...always liked that guy, despite him always giving us trouble while on the Chiefs.
I think he'll be a great safety valve for Rivers.

Anyway I think the videos show he hasn't lost anything. He's still quick and agile and a capable receiver.
