All true, but how much of this is due to lack of talent, and how much is due to poor coaching and inability to develop players.

I think the coaching staff is not getting nearly enough out of the players on the field. Not the most talented, but certainly not as bad as they have been playing. It was a mistake to bring Pagano back and now it will cost McCoy his job.

This was an entire team effort. Rivers missed too many passes early. Receivers dropped passes. Line can't block. Defense can't cover or tackle and makes stupid penalties. ST misses extra points and fumbles punts. Utterly unbelievable. The Colts are a bad team. We are clearly worse.

If this year continues in the same vein, I'd expect that McCoy and probably Pagano are gone. The question is, who do they bring in? Their choices for HC over the years have been pretty poor. I don't expect them to make a brilliant choice.

Team looks better than I thought it would this year.

Consistency errors on offense (drops on 3rd down, Hunters' ball protection) can be corrected. Defense is better than I thought they would be, but they lack depth. Injuries (of guys who normally get injures) are still a big issue.
