It seemed the support for the selection of Harbaugh was virtually unanimous.

To me, personally, the most encouraging thing about this hire is that it is a gigantic commitment on the part of ownership toward winning. No Charger fan is opposed to *that*.

And how often - if ever - has THAT happened here? Not only was everyone in agreement, but then it actually happened.

The thing that got my hope up during this was watching the newsman (greenie? The weird man that cheers NYJ) saying that he had conversation with him and he raves about Herbert (Not Allen, Not Mahomme)!!!

What's great to ponder is that last year Sean Payton had ben chomping at the bit to coach Justin Herbert as well. Our QB is seen by legit head coaches as the real deal and one of the best young QBs in the league. They all wanted that spot. Love it.

Now, have we built up the Harbaugh hype too much? Whew. I hope not.
