We have to hope for the new regime making smart decisions.

I think one of the smartest moves they can make is not bringing Kapernick aboard in any capacity; he is a cancer on the team and a distraction, plus right now of dubious abilities circa 2024 as a far-fetched player. Simply anything he could bring is far outweighed by the cancer, distractions, headaches and problems he almost certainly would bring. Right-or-wrong, it is simply who he is. I hope he continues to stay as far away from the L A Chargers as possible.
