My personal opinion: If we're staying at #5 I think it will be either Joe Alt or Rome Odunze, neither of whom I have any issue with. Both of them are fine players.

If we move down to #11, your guess is as good as mine, with Taliese Fuaga, one of the pass-rushers, or Brock Bowers in the mix. My preference in that scenario is a pass-rusher, but I would be very happy with Fuaga. Bowers is a good player, but I think we're better off going in a different direction.

If they take Alt @ 5 I'm on board. The pick makes since, and we know how Harbaugh feels about the o-line.

Keon Coleman? I get it...looks suited to our system...should be better at run blocking, but we can fix that. Big physical receiver, high point specialist...starter AND special team ace...doesnt think he is too good to do the dirty chores...but #23? Thats where you lost me. If he goes before 37, Ill eat my hat. I think you should probably pull the trigger in the second if you love him, but in this class, he may last to the third...no need to reach at 23, IMO.

He's down on the bottom. If he's not you cup o' tea... no problem. I'm looking for WR's in the 4th round anyways.
I put him out there to appease the Shiny Things people. He's right around #23 for many "experts". I'll take him off.
If I really wanted to earn points... I'd put Brian Thomas Jr's name on the list... but he probably won't be there @#23

Everybody dropped Coleman down their rankings because of his slow 40-yard dash. But he plays faster than that.
His main attribute is his physicality. He'll catch slants over the middle and is very good at 50/50 balls. @6-4, 220... he'll be redzone target, too.

It's no biggie... give me Kool-Aid McKinstry or Edgerrin Cooper @#23 any day.
LSU didn't challenge McKinstry with Nabers or BTJ in their 2023 matchup. Harbaugh and Smart stayed away from him, too.
Edgerring Cooper is known as the QB Hunter. I know of a QB I'd like to have hunted down... and it ain't Justin Herbert.

Bucky likes Payton Wilson... I like Edgerrin Cooper. Payton's injury history scares me. Without that, Bucky says he'd be Top-20.

lf OL is the best player on the draft board at 5, that might be the pick. All depends on who is on the board. I don't think JH2 are going to reach just to fill RT - they are going to take talent that fits the profile of the team.

If I'm Trader Joe, I tell the Vikes I want: #11, #23, next year's #1 and one of the Vikes' 4th rounders this year. After negotiations are done, I think the Vikes settle on all of the above, but instead of next year's 1st rounder, agree to next year's 2nd rounder, and we swap our 6th rounder for their 4th rounder. That's actually doable.

If the rumors are true that the Cards want 3 1st rnders (#11, #23, and 2025 1st rnd) to trade down. This tells me (conjecture) that the Cards have no interest in trading down and they know who they are going to pick (MHJ). If the Vikings offer #11, #23, and 4th rnder this year I would do it in a New York minute. They could turn that #23 into more draft picks and having 3 4th rnd draft picks is very nice in this draft.

I have that on my list to watch but will really move it up the list. People will have an absolute meltdown if we don't pick at least one WR in our first 4 picks.

Bro, I've mentioned this before but will mention it again. I wanted Hortiz/Harbaugh from the beginning so whatever they decide I am good.

Oh I don’t think anyone will freak. But it’ll be like with anybody we pick at 5 not MHJ, we’ll simply hope for the best.

We may not be one player away, but in this draft there is only one MHJ. He’s kinda like Highlander lol.
