I am open to whatever - -I just don't know how a player like Simmons would fit with Gilman and James.

Boyd actually might make the most sense for pure need.

We are still awfully thin at LB and DT, along with this. And WR/TE, of course.

A fool and his gold. The blame is not equal.

I don't subscribe to the idea that you can't judge a man's greed.
Those who do are mostly hypocrites because they likely have all called the Spanos greedy when they relocated.
Have you not judged their "business interests"?
But we're not allowed to recognize when a player is being greedy..absolutely ridiculous.
I'm actually not even calling him greedy, because I believe KA would have chosen the paycut if he understood Joe was seriously willing to move on. He's not greedy, he's a conceited fool.
A fool who doesn't appreciate the fans who have backed him through raider hats, social media posts and sideline tantrums.
The magnitude of this type of foolishness does not happen all the time.
like Rocky told Tommy the Machine Gun, "you blew it!"
        Mike too, where's his message?
Vato the only one who took the time to leave graciously.

Could happen after the draft. There’s also a period where you can sign FA at a larger price but not have it count against the comp formula. I think after June?

WR and DT I see us drafting because that’s the strength of this class, along with CB. We may just get another blocking TE in the draft like Barner to help out with the run game.

LB is the question unless they think Niemann can step up and they just draft a ST at LB to replace him.

Yeah, but that would take a position off the table so to speak for the early rounds. Removing one leaves more flexibility for LB/DT/WR and TE to a lesser degree. A cheap one year deal for either would work IMHO.

Trade 2 of the 3 4ths for a 3rd. If a guy you really want falls to the 2nd somewhere, trade 2 3rds for a 2nd. Now you got 2 2nds a 3rd and a 4th. This team desperately needs two 2nds in this draft. It’s so deep and talented with day one, rookie starters in the 2nd round.
                And ill take the farm

Maybe already posted or discussed... but "Rich Eisens advice to Chargers fans after Jim Harbaugh purge.." is a good watch on youtube. Not good at posting links.

My thoughts exactly. Even when it sucks, sometimes you need change for the sake of change...

Rich Eisen says why Chargers fans should have full faith in Jim Harbaugh even though traded WR Keenan Allen and released WR Mike Williams.Tune in to the Emmy...

Thanks again to Spanos Sr. for having the courage to start the grass fire that will change the Charger culture. Interesting to see the ones who couldn't take the smoke and are out of here. Charburgers out; Chargers onward!
