Now, maybe the Chargers are keeping Pipkins, which is fine - but if you trade Pipkins, Simmons easily could take that slot in terms of money on the payroll

I'd rather they just keep Pipkins as Swing OT #1, he is better than Sarrell by a mile. Unless they are moving Salyer off of OG, that is. I'm ok trading Pipkins but it has to be for something of value. He is a (average) starting offensive tackle in the NFL, that ain't nothing.

Not a bad idea guys...trade Pip for a 6-7 rounder, Salyer is backup OT, and find or sign a real RG...use savings to sign Simmons...

Regarding Safeties, O'Leary has a past working relationship with more than one of the Derwin tandem candidates.

Also, Tarheeb has flexibility, Inside, Outside and Deep.

Disguise those coverages and blitzes !

Not even close.

G-Ro is a genius and has been able to create tailor made offenses to his limited QBs for ages.
He's been forced to run conservative passing games out of necessity. When it works, it's his players, when it doesn't it's because he's "too conservative".
when his HC (John H) caves into external pressure and demands more in the air, G-Ro will take more risks and take the blame when it doesn't work because he's a beta personality and an easy scapegoat.
G-Ro never had this problem with Jim because Jim understands his genius as well as his limitations.
I have complete faith in G-Ro as does Jim evidently.
