1) There is no way to assess who or what positions the Chargers are going to draft. Hortiz/Harbaugh have had only 1 draft together. Rumor was Chargers had decision between OT and WR in the 1st in the last draft and chose OT. They were seriously considering drafting a WR in the 1st.
2) Harbaugh has already proved he can with marginal WR depth guys this year. That doesn't mean that they are not going to draft a WR, TE, or RB in rnd 1. It just shows that Harbaugh and the staff know how to squeeze the most out of their players.
What this tells me is that they are not going to take a WR, TE, or RB in the 1st unless if that player is the best player on their board. They aren't going to reach for need.Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

I just want a better array of weapons for Herbert overall. I leave it to Hortiz how he wants to attack it but the skill positions need an upgrade to get this offense to the nexr level..along with upgrading IOL

One look at the season that McConkey is having tells you that he was the "right guy".
