If only....

Derwin James and Joey Bosa would acknowledge they are overpaid for their skill levels and agree to take pay cuts to help the team with its salary cap issues.

Overpaid for their on field production (or lack thereof) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Though I think DJ just might experience a renaissance in his career with Harbaugh. Bosa's a lost cause.

I’m fine with a 4th rounder given Bosa’s price tag. Boltnut brought up an important point about the edges Minter uses in his scheme. So you can probably get someone with a 4th that may not be great like Bosa in his prime but is cheaper and work within the scheme. Something to think about. Though I still think we keep one of Bosa or Mack.

At least his contract's off the books and you can use some of that money for (multiple) younger guys to help plug more holes. I love Mack - he was exceptionally good last year, but I feel a regression to the mean coming on . . . . . . . . . . . .
