A few bargain bin FA agreements I would not mind seeing today (not all of them, but a couple):

    Gus Edwards, RB
    Mike Onwenu, T/G
    Noah Fant, TE
    Tyler Biadasz, OC

Let's see what cuts or trades are made today!
At least one Superbowl in my lifetime

Gus for $4-$5m would be a nice pickup. I am not interested in Saquan or other high priced RBs. I wonder what Henry is going to sign for?

Yep. Spotrac has his value @#3.6m. Pounder that fits Roman/Harbaugh.
Draft your high price positions... pick up your devalued positions in FA.
        Don't overpay.
        Protect the QB
        Run the ball
        Play great defense

Whether the Chargers move on from more than 2 of the 4 contracts - I still don't see JH2 going crazy in free agency. A center like Bozeman should be on par with what Mitch Morse just got which was an AAV of $5m from the Jags.

I don't see the team needing to overpay at RB thats for sure. I will say, if they truly move on from all 4 - I can see Barkley being the guy they target - but thats a big IF! Even that, I still would prefer paying a bit more for IDL over RB - if they are spending some cash

I am just ready for the damn moves already - I think we all are.

Agree, Trader Joe does NOT have a track record of going nuts in FA...a LOT of one-year FA deals...a few FA deals in the range of maybe $3-$10 mil a year...

My only prediction is this: and its a big IF - -if Keenan Allen isn't back, I can see Barkley being the top prize for JH2.

Or if Allen takes a cheaper than I think contract - like $15m AAV - maybe they go get Barkley

Need to see what they do with the big 4. If they get rid of all 4 they will be players in FAcy. They will have to be if they want to be competitive this year. They won't be able to make it all up in the draft. Now does that mean they will go after high priced FAs? No, I doubt it but wouldn't surprise me if they got one. I could see several low-mid priced FA's to help fill out the roster for a couple of years.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

Exactly right. The money is dead already. If Allen is on the roster - he has 11.6m of basically dead but its not called dead because he is on the roster. But its dead. Today, Joey Bosa has $22.2m of "dead money." Again, if you want to calling "Signing Bonus Paid but now being Accrued for" - thats fine. But its dead.

The talk about Bosa being smart to pay a guy 22m because they only save $14m against the cap so pay him this year so the cap hit is less. Or the idea of pushing more cap on Bosa to increase his "dead" money next year.

JH2 are going to do what they are going to do but I am not keeping a player so I technically don't have dead cap. When in reality, every year teams have a bunch of money already paid that is being accrued for.

So with respect to Bosa (22.2), Allen (11.6), Mack (15.3) and Williams (12.4)- they have $61.5m of basically "dead cap." If you June 1 Bosa, that just means $54m of it is this year and $7.6m of it is 2025 - its not like the numbers go down. It is still 61m against the cap books

JH2 for me is Harbaugh and Hortiz - I think they work in tandem with each other so instead of saying Hortiz is calling the shots, which he probably is, I use JH2

If I am talking about Justin Herbert - its either Justin Herbert or JH10
