Keenan Allen is the best receiver in Chargers history, period. He played in the slot 56%-59% of the time. That means that over 40% of his snaps as a pro came at either X or Z. Keenan has already proven that he can play X receiver. Nobody else currently on the team can say that.

And Keenan could look even older and slower than he did last year. If we bring in another receiver, it should be a true X, not a slot receiver.

Lets not get carried away with pessimism on day 1 of camp.

I think Harris is going to be a good player, I think he is actually under rated. If he hadn't missed 6 games last year his college numbers would have been massive and he would have been a first rounder.

We need Harris to become the X we need. A slowing , older Keenan is not the ideal solution there.

Thats true. Just thinking he is the best WR on the market that I can recall. Either Allen or Cooper
If Hortiz wants the veteran type

Chargers should be getting back at least $1.5m of cap space if not all $3m

Dam when the body just isn’t going forward, sad for Mike, just like Verrett, body isn’t built for this.

Darn. I was really looking forward to seeing Williams on the team again. Is he just not physically able to perform?
