Minter may very well be our McDonald.
Could we be making the same mistake the Ravens did by letting him walk to keep a Harbaugh?
It sounds insane to me to dump the first real HC we got after 2 years when weve been on a drought for over 20 years.
The only reason I'm not 100% against the idea is because Minter appears to be the full package.
football IQ AND culture!
Young, bright, dedicated, I trust his decision making.
Jim would then ***** his brother as the best available candidate."The best defense is more offense."

This is a vast overreaction. You are disappointed to say the least, angry and frustrated, we get it but with all due respect to Jesse, firing Jim Harbaugh to promote Minter to HC (for the Chargers, not other JM suitors) will probably guarantee us a losing season in 2026 and probably beyond. If Jesse want to be our HC someday, he will have to hang around till 2029 (unless Jim suffers from serious health issue before) but if he wants to earn his HC'ing stripes in 2026, he will have to "bolt" somewhere else.Originally posted by HerbieParadigm View PostYes Minter to HC! If Harb's really wants to get Herbert into the HOF that means winning > 2 SBs. And this means a HC and OC who unleash Herbert. Harb's is a fossil re
ffensive dominated football. If you need a clue Harb's is a fossil examine the OC he chose and DID NOTHING to change the O.
What really needs to happen is the person with the most INFLUENCE to have a sit down with Spanos. That is Herbert, however Herbert is too dutiful to take control of his career.

it could help with negotiations with another team that wants him ... if it comes to be. I think we need to settle into the expectation he's going to move on and upOriginally posted by Factotum View Post
Jesse Minter is not going to go to the Raiders, period! That landscape is totally unfamiliar to him with Mark Davis, Tom Brady and the rest of that organization's FO, and Jesse has shown to be very shrewd and astute in all manners. Of course he should go for the interview, why would he not if he's not already landed in another organization as their HC. Even if you don't want the job, show up for the interview or else you'll soon be tagged a pariah in a pro sport with only 32 head honchos.Justin Herbert 2026 MVP Watch

I don't really get the Derwin hate this morning. Dude is a repeat all pro, natural leader, plays with fire and enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Defense wasn't a problem yesterday, and Derwin tipped the first interception up for Daiyan to grab.Originally posted by richpjr View Post

It was tipped at the LOS. If Derwin had caught it (which he should have) instead of bobbled it he had a clear path to the EZ. He bobbled it and Henley luckily was there to complete the pick.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post

Teair tipped it to Derwin who tipped it to Henley. Defense should be comfortable giving the offense the ball at the fucking 7 yard line.Originally posted by jamrock View Post
