Yep...THAT's what I was thinking of...that lame, predictable JET SWEEP...as soon as opposing D's saw DD in there, they KNEW there was a 90% chance of him running that tired old Gro play...and BTW, Mac, u pointed out earlier that DD doesn't seem to have much wiggle or jukeability...very good straight line speed, but just no real ability to even pull a basic single juke...sigh...

yeah, as you and PBB both just post - I've marveled since he got here how oddly little wiggle he has for a guy that small and fast. he almost has to try and not wiggle to have that little wiggle. He used to be better at at least getting north and south - the longer he's been on the team the more he runs sideways too.

Who knows what Mike will do with him or if he wants to try.

Speaking of Ficken ... ... is 2026 the year he learns to coach to the new current KO rules? He once had good STs, but since the KO rules changed a lot to be ridiculous non-football, he seems to have fallen wayyyyy beind. I do not buy for one second that its a lack of ST players. All ST players (Except kickers and returners) are depth players and everyone keeps saying we have better depth. ST ain't no special rocket science, its athleticism and basic lane discipline more than anything.

IMHO, I would prefer that Dicker kick it into the EZ...he's got the leg to do it...but no, Ficken sometimes gets too cute ordering Dicker to kick it to the 5 YL...and it ends up getting returned to midfield...ugh...or worse...

There are teams that consistently cover KO returns inside their 30, how do they do it?

I'd rather Ficken improve the coverage than just give up the 35 every KO. I still hate the new KO format and rules if anyone is compiling feedback to send the league office

With Brady going to the Ravens, I’m excited to see who they bring in as pass game coordinator. I hope it’s a young innovated mind. Maybe a guy like JT Barrett or Leonard Hankerson?

There were bound to be a couple of coaching defections with 2 new coodinators. The good news is we got rid of the worst one - Devlin....and kept most of the good ones- Clink, Fuller, Elston, Roney, Lal etc
