Trading QJ, considering the totality of the circumstances, would be a wise move. We have weapons; we have developing weapons.

Keenan would give us a cushion with KLS and Tre' coming on at a comfortable pace. They need snaps, without being rushed too much.

The mid rounds are ripe with IOL, EDGE, WR and TE. QJ does look great in videos of his current offseason training.

Get us a round three, Joe. That would cover the gap between our round four and our round six.

I think if they trade QJ - the bar for the new WR will be higher than Keenan Allen. That said, he would be a fine fall back option if other plans fall through.

I think the best they can hope for is pick in Round 4 -- maybe a late 3 comp pick at best

Who is willing to take the pledge that they won’t pee their pants and stamp their feet as the Chargers don’t sign every big name tomorrow.? I mean we need grown ups and cannot afford every name, regardless of fit or current talent. And we cannot trade our trash for high round picks
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Call me an optimist, but I expect the same with Colson, though I wouldn't bet money on that one.
Kennard is undersized? the Chargers list him at 6'5" 254 pounds...his combine measurements are 6'4" 254 with 34" arms...I mean he's a bit lighter than Tuli, Mack, and Dupree and a couple of inches shorter than Oweh, but he's taller than the heavier guys and like 12 pounds heavier than Oweh who is the only one taller than him and I do believe Kennard has longer arms than everyone except Oweh...

Yes Keenan is a fallback, and at the right price. This is about using our assets wisely.

Every draft has WRs, and they are more NFL ready than ever. The rookie contract is nice and cap friendly too.

I was the original predraft touter of QJ. He is finally coming on.

However, this is the right move IMHO, B4K.

                For a 3rd or 5th rounder Wu?
I have no interest in a 5th rounder.

I certainly wouldn't trade him simply because I have only 5 draft picks this year.

The impeccable PFF algorithm allowed me to trade QJ to BUF for a 3 (pre DJ Moore trade.)

In this draft, there is more depth than talent, so a 5 would be a maybe in my view.

QJ's contract is a face saving excuse for a front office who did not draft him, and a new OC who has his own ideas.

I know I'll be just watching the fireworks to the overreactions on Day One. I'm resigned to thinking there won't be huge signing for Edge or OG, but won't be upset if Zion and Oweh are back at higher than expected contracts.

I just want to see what Linderbaum gets, if he signs and what an OG like Edwards gets - if he signs. Linderbaum - more curiosity and Edwards, just that sets the bar for Zion/

Linderbaum will get $20M+. Badass gets half of that.

FA guard values could likewise have wide discrepancy. Edwards is a better guard than Zion so Edwards contract should be more. More like a ceiling than a bar.
