Good question that always irks me and seems unique to the Chargers. Every team has injuries but we get entire position groups wiped out. Cursed. Thats my only explanation

MVS was a 24 year old rookie in 2018, he ran a 4.37 40 at the combine. He turns 32 Oct. 10. He is 6-4, he was drafted by the Packers in the 5th rnd. His career catch percentage is 49.4%.

I have never liked MVS.

Not your guy if you don't like drops and inconsistency. Herbert already has one of those.

The receivers other than Ladd just weren't very good in the Arizona game. Receivers who aren't a tight end.

MVS is better than DJ Chark and Jalen Reagor who we had back in 2024.

We need more reliable receivers. Johnston is much too inconsistent and after that the WR room has a lot of unproven or young guys. We drafted Brenen Thompson, who will need guys to help create opportunities for him to thrive.

If KLS is out long, WR will be a priority next draft. So it's looking like CB, WR, Edge and again, OG.
