It's because China is the biggest thief of technology. Ours...
now they've built ev plants in Mexico to put the American ev market out of business. Cheaper and lower in price. I say tarrif the fuck out of them. Chinese products don't last as long as made in America, or Japan, or Taiwan, or Europe. Their power tools suck. If you want things to last, I'm sorry China, it's made in america.

Boeing handed over their technology to the Chinese, in order to make use of their cheap, disciplined labor force:
technology US tax payers subsidized to the hilt.

The same can be said about satellite technologies, computer technologies, etc ...... Chinese demanded they hand over knowledge to allow private firms to manufacture there.

Huge fortunes were made by elite investors in so doing, which along with the push for lowering their tax rates, deregulation of finance, abridgment of other laws, etc. .....
gave them the juice to capture both political parties.

I've been opposed to NAFTA and GATT since the get-go ..... and now the economic elites, who pushed for those items in the 90s to expand their fortunes want us to prepare for war with China.

Blame us ..... its an unstable, arrogant and greedy group that we've entrusted with power.

The Chinese invest heavily in electric cars, we invest heavily in military technologies.

For my Tacoma, Toyota recommends about 31-32. But I think that's too low, and so does my mechanic, so he goes to 35. But...with all the things going on in the world today, at LEAST get into a Twitter flame war about something more substantive and earth-shattering...
(like music groups, Australian hardwoods, lamenting the Bolts losing T-Billy, or how will Pip do at G...go Chahgahs...)
