Right. And if they extend Allen, that will push some money to 2025 plus if Allen has a contract.

If Allen is signed and extended and has a $25m cap hit - probably under $30m of cap space if you take into account two draft classes, 53 man roster, etc. That $112 goes pretty fast

He's not going to fill Everetts shoes. If healthy he can replace Parham. But if he's our primary TE receiving threat
then we're not putting much value on the position.

In such a case I hope they take MH2 or Nabors @ 5. We desperately need play makers at the skill positions. Allen
is getting older and that's if they even keep him. Then we got QJ, Palmer and Edwards at RB. Building the O line
and DL is a must. But you don't win in this league without standout players at the skill positions.
Fully agree, with 2 block well, catch a little plodders at TE....possession types at WR like Allen and Palmer...a power back in GUS, this offense screams for some speed and playmaking like Nabers with the 5 pick and an RB like Jaylen Wright

All depends on if this is a pay cut or a restructure

Restructure - Joey isn't giving anything up and in fact, the team doesn't even need to ask his permission - they can just restructure as his compensation not changing

Pay Cut: Joey had to agree and is buying into Harbaugh or found out the market for his services was not what he thought

Now what? I told you. I told you. Read my post. Get the post. Get my post. He will do a restructure. Joey Bosa will do a restructure. Joey Bosa should do a restructure. Has Joey Bosa even said anything. Everybody talking about June 1 cut and everybody talking about trade. He wants to be here. Why you so quick to run this guy outa town? Everybody is getting a clean slate. Why can’t he get one to. He’s been productive. You see what these defensive ends are getting paid. And you just want him off the team.

Like I said if both guys are on the roster this weekend then both are staying because I don't believe the Chargers
would be paying a roster bonus for guys on the trading block. Of course we haven't yet seen the restructure numbers.
So we don't quite know how much cap space is left and we signed a TE it seems.
Hurst won't cost anything - probably $2 to 2.5m so an extra $1m to 1.5m to the cap

Had Joey (and Keenan) done this yesterday could we of kept MW?

Don't know about other people. But for me it was about him being an injury issue and the cap. Nothing about him not wanting to be a Charger.

If he isn't healthy, how does he help the team.

As for restructure - that just means he gets his money now and not later. Pay cut, thats different.

Do we know the cap situation? I haven't yet see any updated numbers. There was a post from Popper about Mack's
restructure. But that was from a reporter, not the real deal. Two more updates now. Bosa and Hurst.

Exactly. If he had played in the number of games the last two years Mack has - wouldn't even be a question but availability is a skillset. And the last two years, I think four injuries, two each year.

Yes, Popper gave max "restructures" to both Mack and Bosa. OTC still hasn't updated. Maybe we will be surprised - probably not - but we shall see
