For example, when Hollywood Brown demanded the Ravens trade him, DeCosta and Trader Joe shipped him off to the Cards along with a 3rd round pick for Arizona's 1st round pick, #23 overall. Then the Ravens traded down just three slots to #25 and picked C Tyler Linderbaum...again, my point that when a diva wideout gets too pricey to extend, or turns into a disgruntled headcase, it's easier to trade them and replace them later because there's usually a glut of wideouts...meanwhile, notice DeCosta and Trader Joe invested in their O-line with Linderbaum, a Pro-Bowler...not a bad double trade...oh, and the Ravens also got a 4th rounder out of that deal...

We had 2 5ths, a 6th, and 2 7ths. How many of those 5 guys do you project will make the roster? (2 or 3?)

How many of the 4 players from Rd 1-4 do you project make the roster? (4?)
and will each of these 4 players be better than every player that makes the roster from Rd 5-7? (Possible to probable, never a certainty)

Odds are clear, year after year, decade after decade. Players taken earlier have better odds to make the team and be an impact player.

Oddly enough, teams who pick late to last win Super Bowls year after year. Paradox, yes?

Switch their head coach with a Brandon Staley, and their QB with a Kirk Cousins,
and watch them miss the playoffs for quite a while.

Done. My reason for moving the posts was because the discussion should be on the roster development. There might have been some tidbits there, but no real news, and even though it was tongue in cheek, it did seem a little 'personal'.
