Tannehill, Simien, Walker all recently played and started games. Recommend watching them do so. They are not upgrades, based on what I saw.

Hienke maybe. Bridgewater? Keenum? Mason Rudolph? Maybe even Mariota -- at least he can run?

Is there another Jake Browning hiding out there? Is it Perez?

Throw a bunch of QBs against the wall and one of them will be Stick....

I think all would be upgrades on Stick - he is terrible. And the argument for me is not trying to be close to Justin Herbert - its all things equal with the Chargers - who would be better. I think Tannehill would be better than Stick.

Taylor Heinecke - with Cousins and Penix - might be a trade target. Bridgewater retired and is coaching high school ball in FL
Mariota is with the WTF - so he will be back up to Daniels
Keenum is in Buffalo I think or Houston

Blaine Gabbert at one time was with Harbaugh in SF
Yes, I am scraping the bottom of the barrell but Stick is below the bottom of the barrel

Why not Rivers? He said he would consider coming back last year for the 49ers. He would do it for one year and it would be a grand slam for ticket sales. Rivers, even removed from play a couple years, is better than all the guys we are listing.

He doesn't need a lot of time to learn the playbook and would be another coach for Herbert.

        Shoot!

        Do it, dad gum it!

          Number "17" is still available.
If he prefers number, "2" That should also be available very soon.

Tannehill is a massive upgrade to Stick. I'd sign him in a heartbeat, but I expect he'll not want to be a backup and will wait for a contending team to have a QB injury where he can jump in and start.

PJ Walker from the Seahawks to trade for

Hortiz is bringing in people it seems daily - Easton Stick needs to go
Seimien is trash!! Walker is trash. Im for a trade as Tannehill is on a ski slope gaining speed downhill. IF Tannehill will play for 2-3 mil, great but he is 36-37....he may not want to come back for peanuts. Look for a trade real soon here if they think we need to and i think we do.

I know some will say Walker looked good against us.....but he made a couple good passes and was only 4 for 10 , 60 yards.

He hasnt been very good in previous years as a backup and completed less than 50% last year with 1 TD, 5 INTs. 54.6% completion % for his career.

Walker is one of those XFL phenoms we think Perez is from the UFL....same league, different letter.

Last I saw Rivers - looked like he is enjoying some home cooking and put on some pounds. Doesn't mean he can't get into shape. Four years. Coaching his son who is a pretty highly ranked prospect at QB - one list had Gunnar at 64. I don't see it.

Next two he looked like AZs QB again , Murray came back and dangummit, ..he isn't there anymore.
Perez will be 30 in two weeks. Been on several teams in camps and yet ended up in the UFL.

I get we hope he is Kurt Warner but don't hold your breath. Stick I think had peaked.
All Perez had to do is be better than him. Doesn't mean he is a good backup either but let's see what he can do.

Chances we trade for one isn't out of the question. We'll see. Might be trying to now for all we know if the TC reports are true.
I'm not hoping he fails, I just don't think he is the answer but we'll see.
I mean sure, if he didn't throw into triple coverage he could of had A TD pass. And if the OL wasn't shit, Patterson and Spiller could of had 100 yards each.
I don't understand what they see in Stick. Every time you see him throw it looks like he pushes the ball, and it comes out with no velocity or even accuracy for that matter.

I'm not going to crown Perez but he looked better then both of the other QB's. He had better command of the offense which is saying a lot since he only been with the team for a week.

Not worried about the RB's either. The 3 that played are on the bubble. They need the playing time to see who is going to be #4 and who is going to be cut/traded or place on the PS. I'm sure Vidal is going to be the #3 RB at the beginning of the season and will likely see more playing time in the 3rd preseason game maybe he will get some snaps in the coming up came. Same could be said for Ladd.

                  1) Cut Becton, Boz(ret), Dissly, DD, Fisk, and Dupree
                  2) Re-sign Tart, Hand (4m), Phillips (5m)
                  3) Sign the ERFA's Williams, Patterson, and Vidal (3m).
                  4) Sign free agents Cole Strange (OG-1.5 m), Whyatt Teller (OG-10m), Luke Fortner (OC-6.5m), Brunskill (OC-vet min) Leo Chenal (LB-5m), Rashid Shaheed (WR- 14m), Cade Otten (TE-8m) Greg Dulcich (TE-3m), K'Lavon Chaisson (ED 9m), Myers (DT-7.8m), Alec Ingold (FB-6m), Hendrickson (ED-25m), Seumalo (OG-9m), AVT (OG). Jenkins (OG- 12m)

Walker played behind the Browns OL last season, one of the best in the NFL, and a team with a fantastic running game, even without Chubb. And he sucked.

More a dream than practical. I bet he has put on some poundage. Good for him. You are right and I think he only comes back at the end of the year to get a team into the playoffs (if he can take takes the poundsoffs)

I like this move. Signed with the Fish - got cut. I had him on my radar on the Spring when they signed Poona Ford
Why not bring him in - see what you got.

I give Hortiz credit - he is really churning the roster in training camp.

As for back up QB - maybe the guy is Heinecke from Atlanta -- with Cousins and Penix... I think I would trust him more than Perez and Stick
