Hey nothing but love for my fellow chargers fan. I do get annoyed at people not trusting Joe but fair enough this is a place to vent and I’ll let you vent. It’s just hard to hear so many fans not getting the Harbaugh and Hortiz way but I get it we’re all emotionally investing in our bolts.

i think the Hortiz way of waiting until all of the most desired players sign somewhere else to then come sign the less desired player scraps sucks. I get balance, not going stupid or insane on FA, I don't get nothing. I'm sad.

What do we think of Tevin Jenkins?

Here in Bears country, its bitter disappointment cuz he was a big draft pick who failed at T, struggled with injuries...but these fans Im surrounded by do grudgingly concede he was turning it around at guard.

I thought he was already gone, but see he is still around. Thoughts?

I have put him forward earlier and like the idea. But sadly the Bengals are serious about signing him, battling the Giants and Seahawks. You wont find Joe among them...he is at Walmart.

QJ is improving and on an upward swing in his development. McConkey can improve in yr 2. Yeah, why not Rice as a slot guy (being trained by his dad daily still.) Darius Davis #4. (Davis is improving too) Raegor at #5 (He could be more comfortable in year 2 of the system and coaching.)

We still have the draft and free agency to add.
No worries at all for me.

We can draft or add a FA TE so that helps the receiving corp even more.

I’m with you too, I wish they signed some of the big names because it makes me feel good but I trust Harbaugh and I’m excited to see what they put together. I’m sure they have a plan and Harbaugh is just crazy enough to pull it off. I would rather have Harbaugh and his odd but effective ways then a free spender with TTs track record. Trust in the Harbaugh, for no other reason than he’s not going anywhere for a while and it feels much better. 🤪

Don’t be afraid, Cat. Lots of FA contracts also work out great all over the league - Eagles just won the SB with key FAs. KC is filling roster holes every year with FAs. Even our roommates the Rams are filling holes with FAs.

your pain is causing selective memory bias.

Oh, I realize we need to sign at least SOME FA's...but if u look at the Trader Joe M.O., he tends to sign a lot of one-year deals, and if it's a multi-year deal, it's for a team-friendly to moderate amount of cash...which I agree with...I just DON'T like to see us shell out megabucks for bloated deals, which run the risk of a player mailing it in after his big payday...or an injury wiping out large stretches of his playing time...

Well, let's see if QJ really IS improving and on an upward swing...in 2023, QJ had 431 yds, and 3 drops...in 2024, he gained 711 yds. but had 8 drops...so, he did improve in the total yardage, but regressed in the drop department...well, I guess one out of two isn't bad...
(as long as any of those drops don't lose us games...)
