Hear me out. Why not make Trey Lance a tight end? ???? I think he’d be a great tight end. Terrell Pryor was a pretty good receiver. And had a pretty good few seasons. I think Trey Lance can be a great tight end especially in certain packages.

My father and brother are big 49ers fans so I've seen quite a bit of Trey Lance until they were able to fleece the Cowboys and unload him.

He's horrible and not even worth the camp body.

Depends where your starting from...compared to easton stick he's a miracle to us...LOL! If he can cut down on his mistakes per game and be a competent game manager he's a benefit. Easton Stick could not even beat out a hobbled Herbert.

Half of the battle is perseverance. Maybe at this point in his career he's open to all coaching and training compared to where he was at years ago. He might be one dimensional but he could be a good option for those times when we just have to have Herbert sit out an actual game. With our oline last year Heinecke just sucked as bad as anyone out there. If we're going to run the ball 50% of the time he just has to be a game manager when Herberts not in.

Harbaugh must think Lance can be a Kaepernick type player. He has had lotsa chances. This might be his last one. He was headed to CFL before he got the call from the Chargers batphone, I hear.

QB3 for a year, will sign a similar contract somewhere next year and add to our comp picks.

Hopefully Lance gets a chance to start week 18 while starters rest for the playoffs and shows why he's worth re-signing.
