Scott Turner 3.5 yrs exp as an OC Current Raiders Pass Game Coord. Michigan 2027 connection. Son of Norv. So, his style could help Herbert transition since Moore had some Norv in him.

Harbaugh is building Herbert up. This will be his 4th OC and Qb coach in 5 years. Herbert knows that some people really try to tear him down. And because he is so competitive, all this losing has to kill the kid. And for all of Staley's talk about how much he loved Herbert, he sure did not protect him and put the entire game, every game on his shoulders. Harbaugh is very intentional in what he does and he will get the most of Herbert.

What is going on with Bienemy? He got zero HC interviews and I don't think he even has the Redskins OC job anymore? No one talks about him after so many years of poorly veiled accusations of racism for him not being a HC. Anyone heard a peep about Eric? I have always liked him, but as a Rb for the Buffs and then Chargers.

Wonder how much of that was on the QB, OL coach, the O line....(talent or lack therof). I know they worked very very hard there. EB's tough as nails Mid West work ethic, grit, could impress a a work ethic thirsty HC ala Jim Harbaugh. EB was a former RB coach too for years who I'm sure wouldn't mind pounding opponents into submission, yet graduated from the Andy Reid School of Short Passing Offense. Could that translate into becoming JH's OC?
EB did well at KC.... has 6 yrs experience now. "Steal a guy" from his former employer - Da chefs.

Klingbusry is a favorite to land in Washington (where they could draft a QB at #2). KK's worked well w/ QB's before. Would leave EB out in the cold.

I like Bienemy a lot but I don’t think he fits with Harbaugh. Harbaugh is a players coach who leads through work ethic and positive motivation. Bienemy seems to be more of a taskmaster who the players don’t like.

Glad JH is slow to hire an OC. Greg Roman would have been too quick/too easy of a hire. Seems he started hot (GR did), then declined. Yet, JH finds value in him to be part of his staff. He has been a TE coach for 4 yrs fyi...Maybe can be TE/Asst HC.

Scott did a much better job of punting in the second half of the season. I think Ficken is a big supporter especially his hang time.

He did actually punt better the last half last year. He’d been near bottom of league in net prior to that, he maybe moved up towards almost average? I don’t see $3M for a sub-average punter but at least he’s not a liability.
